Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge!

Jeg har længe været på udkig efter en liste, som jeg kunne læse og krydse ud efter, og jeg har haft en del overvejelser om, hvilken en liste, som jeg så endelig skulle vælge. Jeg har blandt andet kigget på listen med bøgerne fra The Man Booker Prize og listen med bøgerne fra The Pulitzer Prize, men som nævnt, så har jeg haft rigtigt svært ved at vælge – men så faldt jeg tilfældigt over The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge, og så var jeg nu ikke længere i tvivl om, hvilken liste jeg skulle vælge. Det er da også den liste, hvor jeg rent faktisk ejer de fleste af bøgerne, så det er jo en fordel og mindsker bogindkøbende, men dog ikke helt. Der er nemlig også nogle bøger på listen, som jeg brændende ønsker mig, som fx The Color Purple af Alice Walker og To Kill a Mockingbird af Harper Lee.

Jeg har læst ca. 50 af bøgerne fra listen blandt andet gennem mit studie, men det var før, at jeg startede bloggen, så vidt jeg husker. Så på listen med bøgerne fra den populære tv-serie Gilmore Girls har jeg kun læst og anmeldt tre af bøgerne her på bloggen, men de andre bøger vil jeg genlæse og så anmelde med tiden. De bøger som jeg ikke har læst og anmeldt er markeret med en røde bog, og de bøger som jeg har læst og anmeldt her på bloggen er markeret med den grønne pil, men linker også til anmeldelsen, så det skulle være nemt at finde og læse om den bog, som I kommer forbi på listen, og ønsker at læse mere om. Nederst på siden har jeg skrevet om, hvor mange af bøgerne, som jeg har læst af de 340 bøger, og denne bliver ligeledes opdateret sammen med links til anmeldelserne under bogens titel efterhånden som jeg får bøgerne læst og anmeldt. Jeg har dog ingen tidshorisont for, hvornår jeg har læst alle 340 bøger, så det at gennemføre læselisten er lidt på ubestemt tid, og bøgerne vælger jeg ud fra lyst, men det er så skønt med en liste at læse efter.

Jeg fandt blandt andet Rory Gilmore læselisten hos Regitze, der har bloggen Bookish love affair, på Goodreads, ved Bookreviews og hos The Odyssey. Jeg er dog lidt i tvivl om, hvorvidt Oliver Twist af Charles Dickens er med på listen, da det varrierer en smule fra side til side, men jeg har valgt at tage klassikeren med i min udgave af listen, og kommer derfor op på 340 bøger, som jo også er et dejligt lige tal.
